The finest solder for the most luxurious arch

Hansgrohe designed the ShowerArc to transform the entire shower experience. With the ShowerArc's wide tube-bow, water cascades from all directions, enveloping the user in water, warmth and pleasure. The initial challenges were many. How do you create a wide and elegant arch with straight sides? Traditional bending techniques simply wouldn't do it. How do you create nearly invisible transitions to the tubes end pieces ? Only the most experienced soldering experts could solve that puzzle. But the biggest challenge of all remained: how do you develop the most forward-thinking shower imaginable and still keep it affordable?

Hansgrohe completely relied on MGI to develop the ShowerArc. That trust paid off with another very successful project.

Sensibly, Hansgrohe contacted MGI, their long-term development partners, and we went straight to work. First, we developed a custom-designed bending machine to create the industry's most elegant tube-bows. Then, we developed a unique technology that enables soldering both inside and outside of the tubes, as well as the end and transition pieces, all in one easy process. Naturally, all of this was achieved with the legendary polishing and finishing quality that MGI is known for.
